Bernice Paolozzi is one of the most earnestly spiritual people I have met.

International Peace Garden Foundation
Dear Bernice:
The International Peace Garden Foundation has been privileged to have your skills working in our favor to assist us in the coordination of the planting and dedication of the 2006 International Peace Garden in Dublin, Ireland.
Your efforts were instrumental in bringing the following youth groups youth groups together last October to assist Lord Mayor, Cllr. Catherine Byrne in the planting of the International Peace Garden in St. Patrick's Park: Peace Child Ireland, Young Lions Club, Down Syndrome Ireland, UN Young School Programme.
Since distance can be a great challenge for us in coordinating the details of the Peace Garden Dedication it was extremely helpful to have you become our on-site representative with the Lord Mayor's office during this past year.
As a not for profit charitable corporation it is essential for us to utilize volunteer services whenever possible. You generously offered your professional services to our organization on a volunteer basis for many months. For this, we are extremely grateful.
We offer our sincere appreciation to you for your time and efforts. It is with great conviction that we wholeheartedly support your nomination for the Social Entrepreneur Award.
Our best wishes to you in this endeavor. We look forward to enjoying a long lasting relationship with you.
Sincerely,
Paula Savage

The Lord Give You His Peace!
I have had the privilege of knowing Ms. Bernice Paolozzi for the past ten years. During that time I have worked with her on many different projects in the fields of social development, Youth development and Spirituality and have found her to be a woman of the highest integrity with a real commitment to bettering herself and the society in which she lives.
In all of the above mentioned fields I have seen Ms. Paolozzi bring real commitment and dedication to bear which have often revitalised established development organisations This is apparent by her use of an integrated approach utilising her large skills in PR and Fundraising. Bernice has also assisted in the foundation of new organisations and approaches to these same areas and she has managed this aspect of her career with energy and determination. Seeing a need in society, Bernice is not one to place the burden of responsibility on others but tries her best to facilitate change in society through direct action and the facilitation of other people’s talents in this regard. Nowhere have I seen this aspect of her approach be more successful.
I have been eminently placed to watch Bernice and the other members of her leadership team invite many young people to a greater awareness of the problems faced by Irish and global society and then facilitate them to responsible action based on young people having a voice that must be heard in order to secure for the planet a sustainable future centred on all that is best of Human culture and Spirit. To see the change wrought in these young people as they find a voice and a confidence to speak up for the downtrodden of the world is a joy to behold and none of this would have been possible without Bernice’s educational approach all of which stems from her leadership team of adults and youth working together.
Yours in the Peace of Christ and St. Francis,
Brother Richard Hendrick O.F.M. Cap.

HeliCruise
“The HeliCruise was set up following a conversation with Bernice about how we could lift the spirits of terminally ill kids, if just for a day.
Before we knew it, we had organised the biggest ever coordination effort between the Air Corps and Marine Corps for one event.
28 privately owned and generously donated helicopters were sent to hospitals and homes around Ireland to collect 128 children and air shuttle them to Portumna.
They thought that was it - a fantastic opportunity to ride a real helicopter! And their faces showed their thrill on arrival. Imagine then, their sheer delight when they were told that they were going on a cruise down the Shannon on 30 privately owned and generously donated motor boats.
But that wasn't all! When they docked at Dromineer, they were met by Brendan Grace, who Bernice secured as Patron for the particular charity involved, various magicians and entertainers and a barbeque, before returning by motor cruiser to Portumna where they departed by helicopter to return their various hospitals around the country.
It is very difficult to really describe the difference that one day made to these fantastic children, but I can safely say that thanks to Bernice's persistence, motivation, vision and organisation, they lived a day that will make all the difference to their lives.”

I have known Bernice Paolozzi since the last 9 years. Her enthusiasm and drive raised money for us for our project in Tibet, a school, employing a doctor and a teacher to support 200 children. Our community is now thriving thanks to generosity of spirit and compassion of people in the west like Bernice.
She is an exceptional person and has been working tirelessly and voluntarily to ensure that Ireland's youth have their voice in shaping their own future and driving social change. I would recommend her for any project.
