Bernice was awarded Best Entrepreneur in Europe, Middle East & Africa category at the 4th annual International Stevie Awards for Women in Business at Caesar’s Palace, Las Vegas November 2007. She was the only representative from Ireland to have reached the finalist stage.
This recognition was a result of the development initiatives Bernice is taking to increase trade with ethics between East and West. In accepting the award, Bernice said, "Each one of us here ARE the pioneers to build bridges to bring Human Values and Ethics into the corporate business world today, so let’s get moving together!"
More than 800 entries were submitted for consideration in more than 40 categories, including Best Executive, Best Entrepreneur, and Best Community Involvement Program.
Bernice also earned a Certificate of Finalist Recognition in the Best Executive in Europe category in the 2007 International Business Awards. The International Business Awards are the only global, all-encompassing business awards programme honoring great performances in business.
In 2009, Bernice received a Special Judges Award for Ethnic Entrepreneur of the Year in recognition of her dynamic, positive, solutions driven projects.
